The project is an individual work that is carried out in a research group under supervision. A detailed work plan is produced by the student in cooperation with the supervising teacher before the projects starts. The project is to be based on a task that is connected with the ongoing research activity of a research department or a business organization.
Advanced level biology 15 ECT with a content connected to the project. English proficiency equivalent to English 6/level 2 from Swedish Upper secondary education. Basic entrance requirements for higher studies in Swedish language proficiency is also required if the course is taught in Swedish.
As a citizen of a country outside the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, you are required to pay application and tuition fees for studies at Umeå University.
