I am seeing human gut microbiome from a functional point of view.
I am a PhD in Chinmay Dwibedi lab at Umeå University. I am investigating how the functional and genomic diversity of gut microbes impacts human health. Specifically examining the strain-level effects on the host.
I did my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and my Master's in Computer Science. After that, I joined Dr. Tarini Shankar Ghosh's lab to study the human gut microbiome from a computational biology perspective. There, I conducted a meta-analysis exploring the relationship between Bifidobacterium species and the baseline microbiome.
